British Council and Oxford Playhouse presented One Small Step comedy bout in the Middle East

One Small Step a British play written by David Hastings, Directed by Toby Hulse and played by Robin Hemmings and Oliver Millingham. Following its highly successful UK tour, One Small Step was presented in Lebanon, Tunisia, Morocco, Palestinian Territories and Egypt between February and March; and in Syria, Jordan and Algeria between May and June 2010. The tour includes performances of the play, post performance discussion between the cast and audiences, discussions and talks inspired by the content and artistic process behind the play, and master classes in collaboration with theatre makers from the region and the UK. The One Small Step tour in the region and associated wraparound activities are supported by Performance Platforms, a regional British Council project which explores performing arts to develop cultural understanding, trust and dialogue between artists and audiences in the region and the UK.
